This week sees former JLSter Aston Merrygold release his debut solo single Get Stupid. The track was co-written with Karen Poole (Sugababes, Will Young) and Sonny J. Mason (The Wanted) and heads up Aston’s debut album Show Stopper, which is due in October.

Elsewhere, Foxes’ brand new single Body Talk is out, Delta Goodrem releases her freshly unveiled track Wings, and Sigma could be heading for their fourth Top 40 hit next week with their Ella Henderson collaboration Glitterball.

On the albums front, the hugely successful Now That’s What I Call Music! series releases its 91st compilation today, featuring 44 songs including eight Official Singles Chart Number 1s.

Other record releases include Roger Waters’ remastered 1992 album Amused To Death, and The Chemical Brothers release their long-awaited eighth LP Born In Echoes. The electronic duo have previously topped the Official Albums Chart on five occasions, most recently with 2007’s We Are The Night.
